Manny seeks vindication against Marquez

For all those avid fans of The Filipino Bomber Manny Pacquiao, the last two fights that he has had might have been extremely disappointing for them as he managed to only deliver below par performances, even going on to lose his WBO Welterweight Championship against American boxer Timothy Bradley back in June 2012.

And now, the former eight division champion is now looking to get some vindication as he gets ready to take on former foe Juan Manuel Marquez on the 8th of December.

It will be the fourth time that Pacquiao and Marquez go head to head against each other, the last time they met resulted in Manny Pacquiao barely managing to hold on to his WBO Welterweight Championship after winning by a controversial majority decision back in November 2011. During that fight, The Pacman earned two verdicts from the three judges and if the fans’ reaction was anything to go by, he didn’t deserve to win the match, let alone life the title belt above his head.

And speaking to the media as he prepares himself for the fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pacquiao stated that his only aim at this moment is to be more aggressive for the fight. He went on to add that if he has a chance of knocking Marquez out inside the ring, he will gladly accept the opportunity and make the fight easy for himself.

He went on to state that he will also try to not fight slow towards the end of the fight as he did on the previous occasions that they met. He mentioned that it is his main focus and he wants to finish the fight strongly. Even his trainer Freddie Roach accepted that Marquez is the most difficult opponent that he has trained him for.
